Let Me Introduce Myself

I grew up in the Appalachian mountains of rural Virginia. Those mountains are 480,000 years old. Unlike Paradise’s Ridge, the Blue Ridge is humid, with year-round creeks and valleys that flood. 

I designed an off-grid tiny house on wheels. Upstairs has a bed loft, a living room loft with coat closet, fold-down table, and wooden storage couch with a pull-out bed. Under the stairwell is storage & a dog door, and downstairs has a kitchen, kitchen pantry, full bathtub, and linen closet. It passed RV inspection and the autonomous utility systems passed environmental inspections. At 8ft wide by 16ft long, I am proud to have maximized the limited space, with solar, a composting toilet, and the same type of water filtration system used by NASA.

Butte county, as I noticed on our last ballot, has a tendency of folks running unopposed.  Paradise is at a crossroads that requires innovation and pattern recognition.

More recently, I spent a couple of years homesteading in the midwest, growing a permaculture food forest to restore the land from desertification. With hopes I can earn my place through research and volunteering, I am campaigning for Paradise town council.
